Farming
Tilling the ground, sowing seeds and keeping bees: every crop and hive, how fast it grows, what speeds it up, and what a harvest brings in.
Some blocks grow by themselves: a crop sown on tilled soil grows stage by stage from seed to harvest, and a bee hive fills with honey. The world grows them every second, wherever they stand, whether or not anyone is near. Each stage takes a set time at the base pace, and a block’s surroundings speed it up: every boost below adds to the pace, so +100% grows twice as fast, and boosts that apply together add up.
At its last stage a block can be harvested: right click it with anything in hand. A crop is replanted from its own seed and a hive is emptied, so each goes round again. Breaking a block at its last stage pays out the harvest too — a crop leaves its soil behind for the next sowing. Harvests are scaled by the Botany skill tree’s passives, and every harvest trains it.
Tilling
A crop is sown on tilled soil: ground a hoe has turned over. The soil is a thin block lying on the ground, so it rests on what is beneath it — break the dirt block under tilled soil or a crop, and it goes too.

Wild bee hives
Bees nest in some of the trees the biome generator grows: a wild hive hangs beside the trunk under the canopy, often part-way full already. Break it to carry it home and set it down among your flowers.

A papery nest of wax and wood humming with bees. The bees fly out to nearby flowers and fill it with honey — the more flowers, the faster. Right click a full hive (honey oozing from its entrance) to collect it.
